To ensure depth and quality, we deliver a limited number of sessions each year.
Bronwyn Francis is an accredited Mental Health First Aid Instructor with more than 20 years’ experience in HR leadership across a wide range of industries, including NSW Health, Local Government, education and manufacturing.
Bronwyn is known for her calm, empathetic facilitation style and her ability to hold complex conversations safely. Her training blends evidence‑based practice with real‑world experience, respectful humour, and clear boundaries that protect both participants and facilitator.
This two‑day, face‑to‑face course builds practical confidence to recognise mental health challenges, respond appropriately, and guide people toward professional support.
This training is suited to:

• Community and service‑based organisations
Two full days of facilitated face‑to‑face training
• The official MHFA handbook for each participant and certification
• Calm, respectful facilitation with clear group agreements
• A learning environment that prioritises psychological safety
Public training is delivered in the following locations:
• Newcastle: January–May
• Townsville: June–August (winter series)
In‑house delivery for organisations may be available by arrangement.
Investment: $400 per participant
• Minimum cohort size: 10 participants
• Maximum group size: approximately 14–16
Group sizes are intentionally capped to support meaningful discussion and participant wellbeing.
